• How does Milk Stork work?

  Milk Stork makes transporting breast milk simple, whether you’re traveling for work, relocating, or managing day-to-day logistics.

  Standard shipping services don’t provide temperature-controlled packaging designed for breast milk, meaning your milk could spoil before it arrives.
  
  Start by choosing the best product for your needs—Milk Stork has options for: fresh and frozen shipping, carrying-on or daily transport,  and moving to a new home with your stash. All of our coolers are medical-grade. 
  
  For shipping, once you place your order, we’ll send a pre-labeled, ready-to-use kit directly to your home, hotel, or destination.
  
  Activate the cooler, pack your milk, and scan the QR code on your FedEx shipping label to schedule a pick-up. 

  You can also drop it off at FedEx or take it with you. You’ll receive tracking updates, so you can travel with peace of mind knowing your milk is safe, cold, and on its way.

• Is Milk Stork covered by my employer?

  Many employers offer Milk Stork as a fully covered employee benefit to support working parents who travel or need breast milk transportation. If your company provides this benefit, you’ll receive a unique ordering portal where you can request Milk Stork kits at no cost to you.

• What’s the difference between refrigerated and frozen shipping?

  Refrigerated options are perfect for short to moderate domestic travel distances.

  
  Frozen options are required for international shipping, and recommended for longer domestic travel distances and moving a large stash.

• How do I schedule a FedEx pickup after my order is packed?

  You can scan the QR code on your FedEx shipping label to schedule a pick-up. 
  
  If you do not wish schedule a pick-up, you can drop off your coolers at any authorized FedEx location.

• How do I pack my refrigerated cooler?

  Packing your Milk Stork refrigerated cooler correctly ensures your breast milk stays fresh during its journey.

• Can I carry breast milk through airport security?

  Yes, but TSA is very likely to do special inspections on the coolers. Please visit our help center for a full breakdown of the process.
